The MacGregor Area Community Development Corporation (MACDC) initiated the Riverside District Revitalization Project to transform vacant lots and deteriorated and problem properties into new traditional, single-family detached homes with backyards for sale to current residents and families wishing to move into the District.
To achieve its objectives, MACDC is teaming with key builder and marketing partners. Its builder partner is Mayberry Homes, Inc., a builder with an outstanding track record for producing new inner loop homes at great value for homebuyers.
MACDC’s marketing partners are two of the most productive real estate firms in the Houston area—ERA Bogany Properties and Womack Development and Investment Realtors. Together, these firms bring highly successful track records for marketing and selling homes in communities like the Riverside District.
Our banking partners — Amegy Bank, Frost Bank and Integrity Bank — have demonstratedtheir commitment to the Riverside District Revitalization project. Amegy Bank provided financial support to MACDC’s acquisition of more than 40 lots, and Frost Bank and Integrity Bank provided MACDC’s first home construction loans. These banks are also prepared to finance mortgages for homebuyers.
